With EMA, MOBO & Soul Train award nominations it’s safe to say Davido is a busy man! But inspite of him touring the world and selling out concerts Davido is focused on one thing right now, and that’s finishing university.
Hip Hop World Magazine recently caught up with the 21 year old singer and asked him when fans should expect his second album, which is when he said,
Yeah next year it is, I don’t have a title for it yet, you know I have been here and there going back and forth, But I am going to slow things down a bit, so that I can finish schooling in April, that’s my my major priority now.
He also addressed his beef with Wizkid
Well I have not been around, have been on tour, no time for *scoffs*, Well he is doing his thing, Shout out to him.
Davido is also super excited about his Soul Train awards nomination! He talked about how he found out about being the only African act nominated alongside artistes like Shaggy and Ziggy Marley.
I just got down from the plane when I heard the news, it’s a big deal for me, I mean having the likes of Ziggy Marley, Machel Montano, Nico & Vinz, and Shaggy as nominees of the same category as mine I feel honored. He said.
