7 THINGS THAT MAKE EVERY WOMAN INSECURE

"Woman biting her nails"
Think you’re the only woman who wishes she could keep her cool over certain things? Think again. Women are not made of stone. As much as they have worked on their self-confidence and learned to let some things roll off our shoulders, there are just some parts of a relationship that get under every woman’s skin. Like these:
"Couple laughing"
The long time female friend
The one who knows absolutely everything about your man. She knows his pet peeves, she knows when a girlfriend is annoying him. And you have to know that she knows. If you just messed up, she knows it and you don’t.
"Men playing video games"
His foreign hobbies
He is really into something you know nothing about. A fantasy football league, some video game, an obscure political party—there is all sorts of jargon for it and whenever he and his friends get to talking about it, you end up sitting there silently. And feeling like on-lookers think you and your boyfriend have nothing in common.
 "Black couple in bed"
When he doesn’t …finish

Men ejaculate, to be scientifically correct. That is just what they do. They are usually not the ones struggling in the “get-off” department so, if they are struggling for some reason, we always take it personally. If he says it’s a medical problem, we will feel insecure until we see those medical papers.
"Woman yelling at phone"
When he doesn’t respond to the cute stuff
Female friends can get into a long repoire of funny/cute texts, trying to one up each other. Men however don’t really feel the need to respond if it’s not a question. So when you send him an adorable, affectionate text, often a man will just smile, laugh, and shut the phone, assuming you know he got it. But you don’t! And you don’t think he appreciated it if he doesn’t respond.

"Bras hanging"
Staying at his place
Every woman wonders when she has over-stepped her boundaries once the relationship gets to that comfortable spot of staying at his place a lot. When is he actually happy to have you there and when is he secretly craving you’d go for a walk and give him space? When does he actually think it’s cute that your hand-washed underwear is hanging over his shower and when does he think it’s TMI? No woman knows how to balance this dynamic perfectly.

"Couple on couch"
When things become settled
When he stops sending you texts like “I’m day dreaming about you” or “let’s just play hooky from work” or “I’m so lucky I met you” it’s easy to wonder if he is still excited about you. It’s common for those super romantic gestures to slow down once the relationship settles, but the question is: has he just gotten to that point of being comfortable (in a good way) with you, or over you? This happens in every relationship.
 "Men drinking"
The rambunctious friend
Every guy has one—the instigator, the one who rallies everyone, the one who probably tells your boyfriend something like “live a little” when he’s being offered a lap dance. You don’t necessarily think that friend would ever convince your man to cheat, but you do worry that he makes single life look so fun, your boyfriend might miss it.

WHY BEING AN ASSHOLE CAN BE A VALUABLE LIFE SKILL

Eighty years ago, researchers began one of the longest and most complicated projects to understand human behavior in history. It would take almost 50 years to complete. But their work would define an entire field of psychology. It started with an idea: that people have different fundamental character traits and these character traits are inherited and stable throughout one’s life. It was the idea of personality. The problem was that there was an infinite number of human behaviors, so how could you know what was caused by someone’s personality, and what was caused by all the shit going on around them? To test and find stable personality traits, researchers would have to make an exhaustive list of all of the possible human behaviors and then measure these behaviors in a lot of people over a very long time to determine what was fundamental personality and what was just noise and bullshit. The project started out humbly enough. In 1936, Gordon Allport and Henry Odbert pulled out a...

The Future of Photography is NOT Mirrorless

©Mecvisuals.com The photography industry is in turmoil. The age of the professional photographer is coming to an end while the rise of the smartphone is bringing the art of photography into the hands of millions. Strange days indeed. Amidst all this change both Canon and Nikon have announced mirrorless cameras that are poised to breathe new life into both vendor’s dedicated camera lines. Will they? I don’t believe they will and in the end, mirrorless cameras are simply a incremental improvement on the road to the true next-generation photography tool; the smartphone. What IS a mirrorless camera? Simply put, a mirrorless camera is a camera that, unlike a Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera, lacks a mirror that typically allows the photographer to view the scene through the lens using an optical viewfinder. When developed, the mirror approach was a great way to frame your photos before you pressed the shutter button. Now, using digital viewfinders found in mirrorless came...
